Today our last night is in istanbul and we decided to come here. we liked a quiet atmosphere with nice European music and perfectly balanced menu. we had wild sea bass that made fresh, tasty and perfect, . portionings are really big, especially salate. and the service was above expectations. the host yalçin is very friendly, speaks good English, very attentive and helpful. with moderate trips this restaurant can be the best choice for most visitors. the only scandal was that we couldn't cost everything on the menu:

Additionally, the atmosphere is really relaxed and the staff friendly and accommodating. I’m very glad I stumbled across this place.

The beef was fork tender, and all the platters are generous portions. We left very full. Service was friendly and hospitable, and very accommodating to us tourists who didn't speak the language. The Turkish glass mosaic lamps and chandeliers iconic of the Grand Bazaar lights up this cozy yet elegant venue. If you're in Istanbul and not sure where to eat, this is a solid, reliable pick. Reasonable pricing, fresh, high-quality ingredients, and everything's just so delicious. Great menu of Turkish wines and beers, too.

We avoided the other restaurants that keep pulling you in by the train station because they are too pushy. My wife and I ordered lamp chops and chicken shish kebab here. We kinda wish we got the mix grill for 2 after seeing others ordering that. Good portion and complementary hummus. Naan is fresh and warm out the oven. If you know middle eastern food, this is very important.

One of the places we went to eat was Saltanat Barbecue House, located in Sultanahmet District, not far from Hagia Sophia. The quality of food was extremely good. We had a Plate of Meze to start with. For the main meal we had Adana Kebab and Grilled Bream Fish. Everything was fresh and extremely tasty. Also, very nice and friendly atmosphere and excellent customer service. Complimentary tea with sweets was just perfect to finish our day in Istanbul.

The owner/Manager, Yalcin, is on-site personally greeting and checking in on everyone. The food, Turkish/Ottoman cuisine is tasty and feels homemade--especially the lentil soup. As well, the have a lovely Kunefe. It also has some great Turkish wines. While is has hookah, you can sit away from the smoke if you like. And the music sets a perfectly chill mood.
