Mathbah offers traditional Ottoman recipes with gluten-free options, in a beautiful location next to Hagia Sophia. Since I am gluten-free and vegetarian, they were happy to prepare a separate main course that was not on the menu. This is not the cheapest option, but everything tasted great, including wine. Since I am glutenfree and vegetarian, they were happy to prepare a separate main course, which was not on the menu. This is not the cheapest option, but everything tasted great, including the wine. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accomodating.

Very nice place, good local food, nice people and they do have gluten free menu.
It’s one of the restaurants in Istanbul which has most options GF. The staff is very knowleadgable about gluten. It’s a great opportunity for a celiac to try the Turkish and Ottoman cuisine of a very famous chef in Turkey. Definitely will come again!
