Temptations - Islington

Popped in here with my brother for a coffee with no expectations, the coffee was very good, but was blown away by the service from who I presume is the proprietor of the place. He was extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, even offering a complementary plate of delicious pastries (after first checking if we had any allergies). It’s service like this that is woefully lacking from the soulless coffee corporations that are taking over our high streets, and so I urge everyone to visit this unique and wonderful cafe and keep local independent businesses alive!

Iam not sure some of these negative reviews- are these people talking about the same place. I like to support local so when i was in london for 3 weeks i tried to eat from where for lunch. The quiche salad boxes had a good section and full of flavour. Great selection of sandwiches hot and cold. spent 7 years in the service sector and i did not notice any issues with and hygiene issues, and maybe these negative review are more out of spite as i was very happy to eat from there.

Decent place, friendly staff, reasonable prices went in early December and had a nice grilled sandwich only £4.50 or so, coffee had a nice option for a single or double shot for a only a bit extra. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

The perfect place to eat any meal! We went for breakfast and was met with a variety of choices. The place was clean and the food display was organized and appealing. The staff was welcoming and friendly!

The smoothie and Earl Grey tea are excellent. The chocolate muffin is incredibly delicious. The service is friendly and efficient. The music adds to the overall ambiance of the restaurant. It's a little oasis in the midst of a busy and chaotic life.
