Lizzy's On The Green - Islington

It's a park café, so there's already a stigma, it's gonna be a little bit fucked, but lizzie is a criminal. a beautiful Wee coffee and a seat outside (cabin at a cool day). have smashed avocados on sourdough and it was punished good value for 4.50£ they put it on yer newington greens wash to do lists.

Quite good small place next to the park. some really delicious eating, avocados on toast is always a winner. the only side would be their ice cream needed work it was much too milky, except that a really nice little place

Jayden was a FANTASTIC barista. I just came for a flat white with a client however… when i opened my cup… i was greeted with the most beautiful swan crafted on top. never. seen anything like it. both me and my client were in awe. fabulous stuff!

My mouth foamed as i indulged in Lizzies butty it was tantalising their was the perfect amount of ketchup.

Lizzy s has deteriorated even more, if that 's possible. Hípster staff who behave like they 've had labotomies with absolute no customer service skills nor ability to critically analyse. No wonder it 's still card only payments despite an email from Lizzy last year telling me they 'd resume cash payments after Covid restrictions ceased. Lizzy 's caters for the largely white, Left Wing, Corbyn-supporting republican crowd who live in this elitist enclave of pretentiousness. Dreadful.
