Yum! This place is amazing. The service was great for our group of 13. The dumplings were very delicious and a good size portion. We will definitely be returning soon. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Happy Dumplings:
The 10 o'clock takeout from this restaurant was decent, but I wouldn't recommend it for their noodles. If that's what someone is looking for, there are better options available. The dumplings and crabcakes were a bit subpar. View all feedback.
Eating was great and they are so welcoming great service perfect eating great experience would recommend that they also have such a great experience as I can.
DIRTY DUMPLINGS! Please, do not go there, save your money and your stomach from bad food and massive poisoning! My friends and I literally all got sick after a dinner there. We had a massive food poisoning and all threw up for the entire night. The sanitary conditions are really bad compared to the rest of Brixton Village restaurant. I go there very often, I have been to many different restaurants of the Village and I have never once been sick or had doubt about the hygiene of the food and place. Market Row in Brixton houses so many Restaurants, pop ups and street food dining that it’s very easy to just go for a place that has free tables and seats. This would be a mistake, forget the eatries and the well established chain restaurants and make your way too happy dumpling. They specialise in BBQ pork buns which are literally worth fighting your family for the last bite, which is often why they run out very quickly but do not despair other offerings on the menu include meat dishes, noodles, soups and of course dumplings in falvours you would expect to quirky ones like red bean dumplings for you adventurous snackers out there.
Happy Dumplings is a Brixton Market gem! It's be easy to pass by when you see the boxes of tesco value tissues on the wobbly tables for use as napkins, but don't. Pull up a chair and order a mixture of dumplings, noodles and chicken skewers. The dumplings were piping hot and cooked to perfection; not greasy, not soggy but crisp and full of filling and flavour. You can even choose to have them cooked three ways, steamed, fried or in soup. The portions are large and you definitely won't go hungry! Next time you're in Brixton market give Happy Dumplings a go, I assure you you won't leave disappointed!
I Love the Prawn Coriander Dumplings, Cha Siu Buns, and the Duck Rolls. It look nice and tasted very nice, very good value for money.
