What Cleora McGlynn dislikes about Pineapple Restaurant:
Prices have gone up, and quality has gone down! We used to visit Pineapple's in Isleton a couple of times a month, but it's been almost a year since we last went. View all feedback.

One of our favorite road trip eateries. We always go for our favorite dish of pineapple tofu. They use a firm tofu, lightly fried on each side in a sweet and sour sauce with carrots, bell pepper and onions. For this trip we had broccoli chicken andrice. Rice comes extra and is pretty much a single serving for semi hungry people. Friendly staff, family owned and they havebeen there for years.
Great food served family style. Each of us ordered what we wanted and then shared with each other. The food was delicious and served up well. Great flavor and excellent service! Definitely will want to go there again when we're back on the area!

The Honey Walnut Prawns were extremely sweet. Too much sweet. The Egg Foo Young was the worst example of that dish I have ever had. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
Food is very American Chinese and that's on a different level. But I guess you are from out of town, you might have heard of the history of this neighborhood. It's cool, interesting, and the service is decent. Great for takeout as well! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
I tried this place a couple of times is very good. The portions are very large and affordable. I usually order 15 to 20 before I get there and when I do get there, my food is ready for takeout. There’s plenty of seating. The stuff is very friendly they greet you when you come in the door and service is very quick. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

We ordered two dishes: the Tomato Beef Chow Mein and Mushu Tofu. Both were generously portioned, made with quality ingredients, and tasted exactly as they should! When I say "old school," it reminded me of the 80s, when I would eat at similar spots in San Francisco. As a delightful surprise, a lovely couple nearby shared their appetizer of Paper Wrapped Chicken with us, which brought back memories of my grandma's version—quite a compliment! The people in this town are genuinely friendly, so be sure to stop by and say hello!

I ventured over the R.V. Bridge today for my first visit to Pineapple in years. The food was just as fantastic as I remembered!
