absolutely delicious. we love this beautiful restaurant / teestube, the garden is with small secret places to sit and is so charming. after the visit we decided to order their shanklin cake. That's good, so fleshy. the prawn salad is incredible and the isle of wight tastes so fresh. I think you sticky toffee pudding might be the best I cost. the owner is charming and the staff so friendly. 10/10 View all feedback.
What Amberleyadrian doesn't like about Laburnum Cottage Tea Room:
Stopped off for some nice cream teas and sandwiches. Staff were friendly and food was good. Nice setting considering right next to the main road, near the old village. View all feedback.
I had the cream tea and it was amazing, the best cream tea I have had. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Absolutely lovely cottage turned into a tea room for cream teas, cakes, hot food and drinks. Beautiful garden too. Whenever we're on the island we always make a point to stop here at least once. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20
Lovely spot, near to main road but you wouldn't know it Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Baguette
Perhaps the cakes are brilliant but the nachos with soured cream and guacamole certainly weren’t. Natural yoghurt instead of cream, some kind of green highly processed stuff and the tomato salsa tasted like very vinegary ketchup. Terrible. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Absolutely delicious cream tea, best scone I've ever had! The staff are lovely and friendly too. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Isle of Wight Shaped Scones with Cream and Jam
