After visiting Dunvegan Castle, we had about half an hour before resuming our tour and managed to find a table in this cafeteria opposite the castle entrance. We placed our order, paid upfront, then waited at our table for the food. We had a soup and a toasted cheese sandwich which were filling. The cafe was very busy but the staff were efficient. We got our food in good time and made the deadline for our tour.

Hearty carrot and coriander soup with a crusty roll and butter, soup was definitely made and not out of a can so full marks.

Located near the parking lot for Dunvegan Castle this is a good place to stop for a sandwich and drink. It is self service. Prices were reasonable for the location of the restaurant and the fact is serves only tourist trade.

Clean and tidy. Coffee reasonably priced. Staff friendly and efficient. Toilets available. Near souvenir shop.

When visiting Dunvegan castle and gardens it is natural to visit the cafe situated in the car park on the other side of the road. The coffee was good and the snacks very acceptable although the place was rather crowded

This cozy cafe near Dunvegan Castle offers a mixed dining experience. While some customers have complained about rude service and subpar food quality, others have enjoyed the delicious cakes, affordable prices, and friendly staff. The menu offers a variety of options, from vegan cakes to venison stew. Plus, the cozy atmosphere and clean venue make it a decent spot for a quick bite or a relaxing coffee break. Overall, the cafe seems to have its ups and downs, with both satisfied and dissatisfied customers. Consider stopping by for a snack or a warm drink while exploring the area.

Our visit to the castle was very interesting if a little over priced for entry. We were looking forward to scones, jam and cream from the Tables cafe. The scones were nice but the actual cafe was a major disappointment. Having come from a castle with 800 years of continuous family line, you’d think there would be an effort made to be hospitable and, at the least, have traditional Scottish music! Blaring I’m not sure what music, having to line up for hot drinks (a pot of tea for the cream tea… then line up separately for the scones and cream (in a plastic container . It’s barn like set out reminded me of a food hall and I think that’s the impression it was trying to give. I was told the jam was over at the side also in plastic but at least the knife was biodegradable. All in all, had I realised I would have spent the money somewhere with atmosphere, comfort and tradition.

Stupid service. Had to wait 12 minutex for the guy making coffee as he lrepaired teo other cups of coffee. The Americano was as thin as water.

Fairly basic cafeteria at the Dunvegan castle. By early afternoon on a weekday they’d run out of pretty much everything except cheese and onion sandwiches and scones. But there was coffee and the staff were friendly.

Lovely cafe, right adjacent to entrance to Dunvegan Castle and gardens, and very convenient. The food was very good with a nice selection. The room is large and has comfortable seating. The staff were friendly and efficient and you can’t beat a place with a burly guy in a kilt serving you with a friendly smile.

We decided to have a quick bite before visiting Dunvegan Castle. This cafe is conveniently located near the castle grounds entrance/ticket office. We had a very tasty venison salami panini a smooth, well-made cappuccino.

Cozy ambience, the staff is very sweet as well, they should keep their name tags visible to be able to call them by their name, would be nicer that way rather than too formal Food was alright Faith is best Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This restaurant is quite lovely, especially considering it is connected to a tourist stop. It seems that a vegan could enjoy a full meal here, including a main dish, soup, and dessert if desired. The service, dining experience, and atmosphere all receive a rating of 4 out of 5. The price range per person is between £10 and £20 for lunch.

The restaurant offers excellent service and delicious food! The venison stew was particularly enjoyable. I would rate both the food and service a 5 stars, and the atmosphere as well.

This restaurant offers delicious food at affordable prices. I highly recommend trying the venison stew for just £9. They also offer free parking, which can be hard to find in Scotland. The staff is young and efficient, making it a great spot for tourists. I give the food and service a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5. Overall, a great dining experience!

The jacket kartoffel with buoy and cheese was simply delicious. highly recommended. the cakes were also very delicious. it is a beautiful place to lunch or to a small coffee break. the service is also very nice. the server were very sweet.

Dipped to lunch before they visit the castle. jacket kartoffel with salmon salad was one of the best I ever had. a true triumph. Unfortunately, the suppe of the day was bad and therefore 5 stars were not completely reached on this occasion. special mention for the young steven segal who took my food order. Why waste when you suck like that.

I had a fresh salmon bag, cheese spoon and camouflaged saw with jam, absolutely amusing, best salmon baguette I ever had, a full baguette, and the scone was soft and mouth water. the new ower is very welcoming, very polite and very easy to speak, I would definitely recommend to stop one, I will definitely go again

Excellent food particularly the Victoria Sponge. Their range of vegetarian and vegan foods is much improved as well! Staff are friendly and welcoming :

Very friendly staff. Good coffee and great food. Had the Thai butternut squash soup and cheese scone, both delicious.
