The staff at this restaurant are confident and attentive. There are plenty of delicious options on the menu. I enjoyed a cheesy baked bean jacket potato with a side salad, accompanied by a mug of tea and a latte coffee. View all feedback.
What dace520 doesn't like about Waitrose Cafe:
Having a diy apartment we went to Waitrose to pick up some provisions. Finding the little cafe we stopped for a drink snack. The sole member of staff was very friendly, helpful efficient. both snack drinks ok. Actually popped in another time during our week. View all feedback.
Great for coffee and cakes while shopping but also a good selection of hot and cold dishes for lunch
Always enjoy our visits to the Waitrose Cafe. Lovely selection of Pastries and Cakes. Particularly enjoy the Cherry and Chocolate Chip Scones. Although the Toasted Tea Cake is also a firm favourite. The Partners behind the Counter are always welcoming and know exactly what their regulars will be having.
We called in for a late lunch, nice lady serving, ham and chicken toastie, dry and tasteless, no garnish, the jacket potato with roasted veg and feta however, was lovely. She even prepared a fresh potato as the ones in the hot cabinet had been there a while! What a contrast on two food items in the same order. Not really nice having the toilets at the end of the cafe, there was a queue too! Better planning needed!
We came to the waitrose cafe at menai bridge with some friends and family. The staff were not very accommodating and they had nothing to serve. A lot of the items on the menu they advised they did not have. The only things they had was cold sandwiches or cakes and what a shock they had baked potatoes. We felt the items they did have were heavily overpriced aswell. Certainly wouldn't recommend this cafe to anyone and won't be coming here again either.
The cafe we had booked was closed despite its website saying it was open and we had already paid a parking fee of £1.50. However as we were hungry we decided to call into Waitrose’s cafe and had a very nice Welsh rarebit.
