Looking for a lock-down treat we spotted the Britannia was open for takeaway. Sadly it didn't impress, although I guess one shouldn't be too harsh as these are difficult times. The starters were very bland and the batter fly prawn' positively rubbery. The pilau rice...tasted simply boiled and unseasoned, and although I found a cardamom pod in it, that too had no flavour to it! The main Arabian Lamb was tasty although... View all feedback.
Indian I had ever ordered a madras, Pilau rice and keema nann, and literally it was completely tasteless/bland and it went all into the container, I make better boar to house not worth the money. sitar bethesda is the way forward.
We were recently in menai bridge and came over the restaurant when we were over, we were not disappointed! the dishes we had were very tasty and the personal attentive would highly recommend!
We lived in the Menai Bridge and looked at where we eat, chose this little jewel. we were not disappointed, eating was excellently desired on their own request and served beautifully. naz, the chef came out and served the food itself and of course. takes great pride in his dishes. the portions were very plentiful and the interior of the restaurant is bright and airy. I wish we had a good Indian restaurant in our hometown like this.
Served politely and quickly. my selected curry that was my favorite was a dansak, a super balance of sweet and sour. the accompanying mushroom was also tasteful. I would certainly return if I visited the opposite
Fabulous food and service I really can't recommend this restaurant enough. Will definitely be back. Simply outstanding!
