We went to the beach on Saturday night for dinner. This gives us a kind of place where you order on the counter and then they bring you the food when it's ready. The place is very clean and people are polite and friendly. The food was a hit and miss for us. The ribs and tortilla soup were great, but the Burritos were bland, as there were no spices. What Russel Schimmel doesn't like about Ay! Caramba!:
This place is wild. I came to the island park to visit my friend's family for Thanksgiving and just wanted a nice Friday meal. Did a burger have ordered it and it didn't come with the order, and when we talked to them about the mistake that I enslaved? You didn't order that? Since they gave us no receipt, we couldn't check anything, but our whole house was there for the order. Then after leaving the burger later, the... View all feedback.
Excellent Mexican restaurant mainly set-up for take out but no problem eating in. Has been around for may years at a Location in Long Beach. Solid food, while not gourmet, and reati b e dishes will tempt you. Enjoy! Great for a last minute meal or snack. Good soups and other quality fare.
Delivery for dinner was supposed to take 35 minutes but we wait over an hour. The chicken tenders were fantastic and the fries were still crispy when we got them. The calypso salad was refreshing. The car am a salad was loaded with veggies. The menu is big. I would definitely try more options in the future. Lots of options with chicken and less vegetarian options? Enjoy!
This place was a disaster. I visited Island Park to spend Thanksgiving with my friend's family and just wanted a nice dinner on Friday. I ordered a burger, but it never arrived with my meal. When we brought this up, the staff insisted that I hadn't ordered it at all. Since they didn't provide us with a receipt, we had no way to verify anything, even though everyone in our party was there for the order. To make matters worse, after we left, the delivery driver sent me a threatening text claiming that we hadn't paid for the burger. Overall, it was a terrible experience. The food was mediocre at best, barely better than Taco Bell.
I’m appalled at how we were treated when we placed our order. We ordered several items, but they forgot one of them. When we called to ask about it, the man on the phone insisted that we never ordered it and accused us of lying. If it had simply been a mistake on their part, we wouldn’t have made a fuss, but he was rude and claimed it wasn’t their fault. When we completed our order, they added the missing item but informed us that the prices on their website aren’t always up to date and that there is a credit card fee. Since we didn’t receive a receipt, we couldn’t verify the charges. Overall, the customer service was terrible, and they have definitely lost us as customers.
We visited the beach on Saturday night for dinner at a casual spot where you order at the counter and wait for your food to be delivered when it’s ready. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was polite and friendly. Overall, our experience with the food was mixed. The ribs and tortilla soup were excellent, but the burritos were quite bland due to a lack of seasoning. As it is a Mexican restaurant, we had anticipated a more authentic burrito experience, but they turned out to be more like deli wraps. However, the ingredients were of high quality, so we left satisfied with our first visit. We’re willing to give this place another try.
