I've been coming here for about a year and I'm really, really happy with it. There's usually equipment available, the basketball court and swimming pool are great, and everybody who works there is super friendly. The Study Hall bad and have a really charming vibe to them. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Study Hall:
The service was garbage, there was clearly a very drunk girl who wasn't okay and the practical older bartender took her. Very unpleasant situation I placed by seeing this unfolding. The bartender took a random picture of us, just trying to get a drink, so I have no idea what it was about. We had asked for a Jack and Coke and she gave us 1/5 of Jack and like 50% Sprit and it wasn't what we ordered. Certainly terrible... View all feedback.
The service was garbage, there was clearly a very drunk girl working who was not okay and the handsy older bartender was grabbing her. Very uncomfortable situation I placed through seeing this unfold. The bartender took a random pic of us just trying to get a drink so I have no idea what that was about. Nice spot. Friendly staff.. love the ambiance. Will be back! Google is telling me my review is too short so I'll say, bathrooms needing attendance. You can thank Yelp for making me point that out.
Good watering hole. Boston fan bar? Decent crowd on a weekend night. Places to sit. Parking very easy. Would go again.
Wow sooo many good things to choose from. The hardest thing was choosing what to order. Everything we had was the perfect size and soooo flavorful. We ordered the cheesy tots, truffle Mac and cheese, fish tacos, chopped salad, and oxtail. We ended up ordering a second round of the fish tacos. Also greatttt customer service. My husband is very picky about customer service and he was blown away by the hospitality. Alex was a great server who was energetic and checked on us several times. We already plan on coming back to try those nachos!
Why is this bar still open during the COVID-19 pandemic when there is a statewide order for bars to remain closed. There are always creepy men sitting outside in the new patio area on Pardall staring at girls and catcalling. This place shows the worst side of Isla Vista.
