Loved, loved, loved Taqueria Glenssy! A very modest looking establishment with the best authentic homemade food. I fell in love with the fresh fish tacos and guac. Such nice people with such awesome food. Don't miss this tiny spot. You feel at home sitting outside, enjoying the sun and the sites. Very low key. We ate there 3 days in a row for lunch. Inexpensive but delicious. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Taqueria Glenssy:
The place and food looks good. It's a street stall and I expected to pick up a simple burrito in just a moment. May be 10 min max. So it was a surprise when I had to wait for 40 minutes and it still was not ready. They could have pre-warned at least. Someone had placed this massive order that took ages to prepare, after 40 minutes and still a few people before me, just left. Very annoying experience. View all feedback.
Tortas, tacos, empanadas all made fresh on the spot in this little shack on the street at north end of Hidalgo. Family run with a smile and really cheap. A must try for lunch. Leave the beach and bring back to eat while looking at the beautiful blue waters of Playa Norte.
Food is cooked to order send service was friendly. The burger was very good and the arrachera empanadas and quesadilla were good too. Nice place for street food.
Easily the best place for taco, buritto and torta! In our four-day stay we went to this place several times! Well spent money on delicious food!
Do yourself a favor and stop by this spot if you're ever in Isla! It may not look like much, but don't judge a book by its cover...this place is delicious and the family that owns it is so nice. The handmade tortillas for the tacos are so good. My only regret is not visiting sooner.
