El Arrecife - Isla Mujeres

Went to see Freddie on three separate occasions this last trip. It is a great place to eat and have drinks later in the evening. Gracias Freddie for always making us feel at home.

Found this little gem by chance. We were greeted like family and didn’t want to leave at the end of the night! We only had the nachos (which were amazing! and some Drinks. But the atmosphere was fun and Freddy made sure we were comfortable the whole time.

Sat at the bar and watched the show. Classic rock band was great and fun to watch the old folks dance. Had ceviche and beef nachos. Both were great! Try the frozen Mojito.

Not much you can say beyond the many positive reviews, but will add Fantastic to the list! Freddy brought the best of what he did at the Soggy Peso to his own place. First, the food is great. Shrimp ceviche is over the top good, tasty pico de gallo and great chicken quesadillas. All made to order by their chef. The tradition of drinks remains the same as well. Margaritas are made to order and won't disappoint. He's hired good young workers that provide great service. Heading back again!!!

Above the ice cream shop on the corner of the square. Hard to find, but well worth the climb upstairs. The burger is great and it is HUUUUUGE!!!! More than enough for two. Great ribs. Great people. Bring you shades, even at night, there is a healthy dose of black light. Oh, did I say GREAT RIBS!!!! This is what is like in a small town, where you personally know the bartender/owner. If you want the experience of true owner hospitality, just walk those stairs, put a big smile on your face, and enjoy old fashioned hosptality the way it oughta be. Enjoy.
