Chimbo's Beach - Isla Mujeres

This is the best part of the Playa Norte beach. We had a great day on this beach. The water here is actually up to your shoulders versus other parts of the beach where is only knee-high. This club is easy to get to. We parked on the street and had a short one minute walk to the beach. We were greeted by Cesar, who set up two chairs, and a table for us right on the beachfront. Cesar provided amazing service for our drinks and also was our waiter for lunch. We had one of our best meals on the island at this restaurant. We had garlic shrimp, and my wife had garlic shrimp, and the skirt steak. Both were the best we have had on the island. The mixed drinks are a 2 for 1 happy hour. They can actually make it where you just get a drink in a big cup that counts towards this discount. Our drinks on our first day here were better than the second day when we just were at the beach for an afternoon. Cesar did the best he could to add a little more rum to my pirates punch to make it taste a little better. There is a 500 peso charge for the two chairs and a table and umbrella. This is a great deal. This club is right next to Tarzan beach club. They do not play music at this club, which is pretty nice. The peace and quiet is enjoyable. Offer rafts and tubes for 150 pesos a day. The crowd here was a mix of adults and a handful of families with children. I highly recommend the beach club. Enjoy!!!
