Great restaurant with delicious Peruvian food and above average service for the region. One of the best restaurants in Isla Mujeres that we've dined at in the past few years by far.

I happened to wander in here last night, and I'm so glad I did. The food was amazing - I had the ceviche, and a lovely salad with fava beans, the flavors were fresh and absolutely delicious. The cocktails were refreshing and the servers were fantastic. I will go back again while I'm still here. So far the best food I've eaten in Isla Mujeres! I would recommend this for solo travelers, families, friends, or romantic dates!

The specialties were amazing including ceviche trio, shredded chicken and snapper. The drinks were incredible Pisco sour was not to be missed. A wonderful quiet experience and great service.

We enjoyed a perfect dinner at Amar a few weeks ago on Isla De Mujeres. Passing it by accident, we were welcomed inside and offered a small taster before staying. We decided very quickly to remain and enjoy some shared tapas! Between us, we had three dishes along with a lovely dark beer. We were recommended some options as well as the excellent special. Between courses, Brian came to chat to us, even giving us a small painting each from the resident artist. At the end, he joined us in drinking a lemon aperitif which perfectly complimented the rich ceviche we had just enjoyed. On the house, much to our happiness. We left happy and full! Overall, we felt comfortable and at ease in the sweet restaurant, and appreciated being able to try before staying. It was very reasonably priced and our favourite meal of our Mexican stay.
