Super uriges Restaurant. Es befindet sich in einem kleinen Fachwerkhaus. Viele Plätze gibt es nicht, man sollte also vorher reservieren. Das Essen ist fantastisch. Es gibt typisch österreichische Gerichte, z.B. Wiener Schnitzel oder Flädlesuppe. Es gibt aber auch sehr leckere mediterrane Gerichte. We were there for the first time. We were very kindly greeted and accompanied to the table. After selecting the dishes there was a short time later a bread basket with a cream as a cover. After another 20 minutes, the food was cured. Here I have to clear 300g steak. It was ordered medium, it was delivered well... Goods due to the good reviews for the first time to visit this place. The selection of the menu was very extensive. The first impression of locality was for me to express it carefully, cuddly. Salt and pepper shakers on the table were greasy and the armrests of the chairs were also. Particularly during the pandemic, thorough hygiene of such objects should be natural and very careful. Maybe that was the reason why I didn't have such great expectations at my ordered meal. Unfortunately, this was confirmed. The beef fillet tips were fried and lowered as well as the addition in a wort and garlic-exposed sauce. The additional salad was fine, but everything in all was overpriced with a price of 18.50€. To one of the bad kind of preparation, but also the very manageable amount. My husband ordered a court to which mustard was delivered from the tube. We found this already four months above the expiry date. We drew attention to the host and received the answer he had eaten himself, and Senf was almost only made of sugar and vinegar and therefore he would not be bad. A simple excuse given to the food would have been enough for us. For us there is no second visit to this place. What the visitors feel as original, in this case I am sadly referred to as unclean. And the quality of food has a lot of air in this price segment. The kindness of the service that served us is worth mentioning.

Had a nice evening with delicious food good wine. Service was flinck friendly. The host was funny generous, just wanted to do good. Mustard sauce was a fine mmmmh apple strudel!
The cuckoo is very central in the Iserlohner City. The building speaks for itself, old town. The decor is accordingly you feel like home. The Fred Chef gives the rest that you can experience a great evening with excellent food
