My wife... read more We had lunch here once during our trip. It was one of the best meals of our trip and we had been to some quite decent restaurants. The chef is amazing. My wife was vegetarian at the time and he put together some amazing dishes for her. The pasta and the the lake fish were to die for. One of the things i loved about the cooking of this chef, was that the food was not overly rich unlike most places in Italy. Not only that, its also a nice place. You don't feel stuffy sitting there. I noticed some regulars who came for pasta and a glass of wine and seemed to be very happy. I can't remember how the wine list was. We are going back to Iseo this year and i plan to go back to this place ! We ate in July 2012

The... read more We wanted a break from Michelin restaurants, with more traditional food that locals like. We found it! The owner seemed to know every person who walked by. The food was delicious without being fussy. The service was welcoming and swift. Definitely get a slice of Italian life by having pasta or steak at this hidden gem!

After booking a table online with The Fork my wife and I arrived at this restaurant to receive the worst welcome you could possibly imagine. The maitre’d was serving behind the bar and clearly not prepared to welcome any tourists. He dismissed our reservation out of hand whilst welcoming two groups of local diners and escorting them through to their dining. Twice we asked to be served a drink whilst waiting and each time we were blatantly ignored. We asked how long our table would be and again no response whatsoever. We left without dining. Our recommendation, do not give this restaurant any custom as they have no concept of welcoming guests.
