I will never return to this restaurant. I wanted to give it a try, but it was such a terrible experience that I won’t be back. A large waiter took our order but ended up forgetting it. Then, someone who seemed to be the manager came over and told us we hadn’t ordered, even though we had. It was very unprofessional. The food had no flavor at all; it just tasted like heavy cream. What an amazing little jewel of a place! The food is not your typical Indian food, everything has a small special taste. You can definitely see the difference in quality vs most places in Jersey. They also offer some amazing wines, our paired really well with the food.
Thank you Urban Spice for delivering on another enjoyable evening of food! The Bengali cuisine featured was truly satisfying. The menu was simple,but the chef was able to execute each dish perfectly. I am happy to see a restaurant striving to include other cuisines of India especially Bengali food which is so underrepresented. Thank you to all that were involved and well done.
We were there for the first time with family. Ambiance was very good. Service was excellent. My wife was fasting that day chef was very accommodating of her request. Food was fresh excellent !!!!!!!
Wonderful dining experience! Great atmosphere, beautifully updated, love the renovations. Awesome service and very personal attention from both owners and staff. Dishes were perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavors and spice! Definitely check out the Chili Martini its HOT! Signature Cocktail at its best! Best wishes for continued success! Great experience. We had a party of over 30 people on a busy Friday and the staff was very timely and accommodating. Every single thing I ate was excellent! Definitely will recommend.
