Came back for dinner severa... read more We found this place for a prix fixe lunch. 20 euros for bruschetta, seafood pasta, and a seafood fritto. Amazing and delicious deal. Came back for dinner several times. There are more romantic. more expensive restaurants with waterfront views. This place is all indoors (although I'm seeing fotos here of a rooftop terrace, did we miss that?? . But there is a view of the sea from the tables against the wall with big windows. The service is young, fun, attentive, The room is big, bright, crowded. Very casual. It's open very late, and on Sunday. Sometimes you just want a good, affordable, solid, delicious, reliable meal without all the fancy annoyances of a higher end meal. We ate here 3 times in 4 days, and it was a great choice every time.

Following the second course, pork in white wine that tasted fine or muscles that were very plain in taste was a mixed salad full of soil. I will not return.

And by that I 'm not talking about the waiters, because they genuinely tried their best, but this place is a real mess in terms of organization. We waited more than an hour for just three antipasto and some pizzas, even though the place wasn 't that full. Also, some tables near ours received their dishes a lot before us, and apparently the reason was that our digitized system is broken, so we have to use pen and paper , which is not a valid justification in my opinion, given that it used to be the norm not so long ago and the restaurant isn 't that big. On a more positive note, food was good. Antipasto were ok, nothing exceptional but still quite delicious, and pizza was good but not the best I have had in Ischia.
