Dal Forno - IRWIN

This place is excellent. The food is homemade. The ricotta and pear starter is absolutely delicious. They also stir a really cool cigar and Bourbon bar in the back closed from the restaurant. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the waiting staff is attentive. I love this place

Nice, very hidden restaurant. The menu is short and straight, well worked up, but expensive. Just like the place itself, their fine designs beers are also hidden if you do not ask you never know they have some. And they're great. On the taste side I would like to have tried one of their pizzas, but had already the day before and needed to have control over my calorie intake, so I went with a steak what they say it is all done in the same oven as the pizza. Very different, very tasteful. Supplements could, however, be better. Nice staff, clean bathroom.

Excellent....no need to go to Pittsburgh for a good meal. It's here. Chef Eric and his staff did a great job.

We went to Dal Forno for the first time about a year ago, especially because we heard about the great pizza there! It's an hour drive for us, but we loved the pizza so much, determined to go back. We went last night and were so disappointed that the menu now includes only three pizzas, and you cannot build your own. Very sad that this has changed! Also the selection of beers was a little limited, as hubby asked after 2 who were not in stock. We ordered a paprika pizza that was brilliant. I'm sad we're probably not going back.

We love this place. Wish they still had the Speck pizza! That was the absolute best pizza ever! Michelle was our server and was awesome. We had a few questions about the menu since it changed since the last time we were there. She answered all our questions and made great suggestions.
