What Ola Lubowitz doesn't like about 43rd Street Cafe:
The worst place to go for a good time. Karaoke night was open mic for everybody. I only got to sing one song while regulars got up 4 and 5 times. They lied to my friend and said the kitchen was closed and continued to serve only the regulars. Don't go. View all feedback.
I went on a a Sunday. It was real clean and cozy. The bartender was amazing. She was very attentive and a great spirit. The food was excellent. They followed all CDC guidelines with tables, sanitizer, bathroom, etc. Habeebah was the best bartender I’ve had in a long time . Her drinks and customer service is grade A. I will come back if that energy is there all the time.
Great place and atmosphere. Definitely recommend this spot.

Before entering, there were temperature and safety checks in place. The venue was spacious and clean, including the restrooms. The menu offered typical bar food like wings and mozzarella sticks, which were delicious. The bartenders were fantastic and you could order any drink you desired. Surprisingly, the place was quite busy for a Monday night. They had karaoke, which was a lot of fun, and the DJ was great. If Mondays are this lively, I can only imagine how exciting the place must be towards the end of the week. I will definitely return to see what else this place has to offer.
This restaurant had a negative reputation in the past, but has since made significant improvements. The renovations have greatly improved the atmosphere. The food is delicious and the DJ plays a great mix of old and new music, including some excellent club music. Friday nights are the best in my opinion.
This restaurant is a fantastic place to dance, drink, and socialize with your friends. The drink prices are reasonable, with shots costing $5 and chasers only $2. There is a diverse crowd, ranging from young adults to older individuals, representing all genders and wearing a variety of stylish outfits. The music ranges from house to old school, new school, and Caribbean sets. We visited on a Wednesday at 9pm and enjoyed people-watching, playing pool, watching an NBA game, and dancing. The food we tried for the first time, shrimp and fries, was good but not the main draw. Most importantly, this restaurant is located in a predominantly black neighborhood so it is important to show support for the community.
