Mrs.Kays catfish and chicken - Irving

Needed something to eat before heading to Dallas for work, I've seen this spot many times just never thought about going until today. Got the pcs chicken combo, menu says comes with mashed potatoes, roll and drink. Notsure if the menu is old or needs updating but all I got was chicken, fries and rolls. Anyway turns oyt this spir makes pretty good chicken. Not sure how ir is fried but it was seasoned nicely, not too heavy nor was it greasy. The price is comoarable to other places but your wait is slightly longer. Overall just what I needed something good fast. Iwill probably return and try the catfish even though I'm not a big fish eater.

GREAT FOOD!!!!! The collard greens taste like mamma's. Even had a spotless bathroom. I'll be going back at least twice per week.

Little small place with only a few tables but big taste. Definitely coming back here again. They have specials every day of the week. Went on a Friday when they had some chicken strips for I believe. Can’t beat that! Cowboys artwork on the walls and friendly service.

This place is superb and spacious, the meals was yummy and the prices were very inexpensive. quick, effective service and very affable staff members. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

Found this place about a year ago and can't get enough of it! Great food... great service. You are treated well by the staff. If you haven't been here to eat yet, hurry up and do so.
