The food is exceptional, the staff is fantastic, and the ambiance is just perfect. I highly recommend it for a lovely dinner experience. The price range is between £20-30 per person. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 5 out of 5.

The cakes we... read more This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The most difficult part was choosing what to order because there were so many delicious options available. The cakes were especially impressive. The staff were all incredibly friendly and the Scottish breakfast was cooked to perfection. I also enjoyed a delicious Salted Caramel White hot chocolate. Overall, the meal was excellent and I highly recommend trying the Wee Gro Breakfast and Cake Selection. 5 out of 5 for food, service, and atmosphere.

The wait time was 1 hour which was suspected as it is always so busy, although waited roughly about 1 hours 10 mins and received call when table was ready. Place is really packed with people sitting and waiting for takeaway. For food we had got Mediterranean eggs and the American, food seemed as if it had been sitting out for a while and some things were cold although was still nice. Also dog friendly and have a selection of sides that can be given to dogs. They do a lovely vanilla oat latte as well! I think at the weekend it can be rather overwhelming as it is so packed but well worth the wait. On the way out I grabbed an empire biscuit and a biscoff cinnamon bun which were just absolutely amazing. Good selection of cakes and they always seem to go quite quickly! Lovely day out by the beach and food in gro. Would recommend! Parking: Lots of parking out the front although if busy can fill up pretty quickly, although tonnes of spaces near the beach parking and can walk down.
