I arrived right on time for my reservation but had to wait 10 minutes for a table, even though there were at least 10 clean, open tables. The restaurant didn't seem very clean. There was a drink spilled on the floor near the front door that wasn't cleaned up the entire time I was at the restaurant. It took the staff too long to clean up dirty tables. Tables were wobbly and in disrepair. There as absolutely no manager presence anywhere in the restaurant. The food was fine and the server was nice but overall I was unimpressed with how this restaurant is being run. Considering how many other PF Chang's locations have closed, I wouldn't be surprised if this one follows suit soon. Maybe the Fashion Island location is better?

W... read more What a GREAT late afternoon, early dinner we had at the Irvine Spectrum Chang's! Since it was a warm, beautiful day, we elected to sit outside on their patio. Weather-permitting, this OASIS at Chang's patio is OUR new go-to indulgence! Not only was Chang's VERY UPSCALE motif/furniture carried throughout to their patio seating, but we were also surrounded by Fresh Plants and could subtly do some people watching! (Kinda like distractions for the grown-ups! LOL! Our meal of Peppered Beef, Spring Rolls, Crispy Green Beans, Mongolian Beef and Won Tons was SO DELICIOUS and cooked perfectly (our Server, Ana, was WONDERFUL! , that we ordered a bit extra of the sides/appetizers to take home w/our entree leftovers, for another meal. LOVE this Chang's at the Spectrum! Looking forward to returning!

The service was very good, but the entrees came... read more The food was, again, OUTSTANDING and we ordered extra so that we could take some home for meals on another day. The service was very good, but the entrees came out just a few minutes after our appetizers and I had to TWICE explain to the Food Runners to take them back and keep them warm as we were just starting to enjoy our scrumptious appetizers. Unfortunately, there was a VERY loud woman (a nurse sitting at the booth right behind us and she was complaining LOUDLY to her 3 co-workers about some work experiences that she was not happy about. I glared at her several times and she either didn't care (She was young; probably late 20's. and/or hard of hearing and didn't understand. The others at her table should have said something to her, but they were pretty quiet and think that they were just hoping that she would stop. Not Chang's fault, but if they see this loud woman again, they should seat her in the bar or at an outside table.

Our Server, Kendall, made sure that we wanted for nothing; she was attentive and anticipated our needs, SO nicely. (She even put in extra fortune cookies in our To Go pkg. THANK YOU! It is a VERY UPSCALE feeling in how they treat Customers, yet very relaxed, experience! The food was SO delicious, we ordered more than we could eat for dinner so that we made sure to have leftovers for another meal! For a Thurs evening, we saw that the same manager that watched over/coached his team the prior week, was the one that seamlessly was making all the trains work on time including the kitchen/food Runners. For a large restaurant w/complex, ethnic foods, it was all very impressive! Major kudos to the Mgr, Kendall and the entire staff including the hostess who are very welcoming! We 've already booked another visit for next week!

I will say that there's something about the menu that is different recently. I do like that the soup now hasoptions for you to get larger portions that are more cost effective especially if you're going to share it with anotherindividual. Something about the food lacked some kind of spice or flavor. I'm not saying the food was not delicious because itwas but it could have used an extra kick. The portions are just right. Me and my wife got full offer meal. I was actuallypleasantly surprised that the beef options were not overcooked and that the beef was tender. Chicken is usually they're stablethat comes out well in every instant. I do look forward to coming back.

But definitely I am not impressed. Our party was of five people, wait time was about 15 minutes to be seated (Not bad at all), this was around 5:30 pm on a Saturday! Front hostess was nice, very welcoming. Our waitress, Celeste,was lovely, kind, funny, and quick. My problem was with the food. The food was not bad, it just didn’t have much flavor. Ihad the fried rice with shrimp. The shrimp was a bit spicy for some reason (I don’t eat spicy) and the rice really had notflavor, it felt really plain. To be honest, I like the fried rice from Panda Express way more, and it as a lot cheaper. Thesame was with my wife’s chicken fried rice, and the California roll. The other two sushi rolls we order were really good,can’t remember the names. The pork dumplings at the end were good though! But nope, this place was a bit of a let down!

Verydisappointing! In addition the food wasn’t very good as it usually is. You can see for yourself the picture I added above, thehair is clear as water. It was my cousin's birthday so you could guess it wasn't a very fun birthday celebration. The fooddidn't have much flavor ethier, the fried rice seemed especially bland. Based on my experiences with different P.F Chang'slocations, this is by far the worst one.
