It was all... read more Me and my daughter ate lunch on the patio today and was served first by Maya and then Danielle. We ordered one of the bowls and of course the fries! It was all great. We also took some food to go. All of the food was good but the service made it great. Even on a hot day like today, the girls were super attentive to the patio and always had our drinks filled. I work at a restaurant as well so I know what good service looks like! Happy we came in. Thanks ladies!

It was quite busy and it was about 15 mins before a table opened up for us. The menu is the same as it was for the past few years. I was feeling brave and picked the chili burger (Pipeline). My goto is usually the Hula. We got an order of nachos for the table and the truffle fries. I decided to share my basket of fries that came with my burger thinking the fries were bottomless (like most places are now) But they are not when I asked for another basket, the waiter told me there was a fee.....fine. The nachos they skimped on the chips. THE CHIPS!!!!!!!! The cheapest part of the nachos!!!!!! My Pipeline was good but it did not satisfy my burger craving for some reason. Honestly, the best part of the meal, was the fries (just remember they're not bottomless). The service was slow and while the waiter was nice and friendly, the lunch crowd had thinned out and the waiter should have been quicker with the drink refills and the soup refills. I never understood why most of the TV's were showing old surf clips. I think it would be better if they had live sports on all of them. Just a thought. If you've ever been to Hawaii, you'll notice that the only folks that wear aloha shirts are the hospitality employees and the tourists. This is true at Islands lol. Time to update the staff uniforms and cut out the surf clips brah!

My wife and son both chose their favorite fish tacos, while I opted for the Beachside Bowl. It’s delicious and comes with fresh grilled pineapple, red bell peppers, snow peas, water chestnuts, red onion, broccoli, and diced scallions, all served over white rice. I also appreciate that you can choose between teriyaki or hoisin sauce on the side. While you can get it with grilled chicken, I went for the grilled fish, which is my favorite. I had a refreshing strawberry lemonade, and our waiter was great about keeping the refills coming. Although we usually visit their Orange location, this one is fantastic as well. Congratulations to them on celebrating 40 years in business!

After we pointed it... read more When I ordered a drink, surprisingly, a manager brought it over, and to my shock, there was a hair in it, which seemed clearly intentional. After we pointed it out, they replaced it, but the new drink had no alcohol whatsoever—just a smoothie, despite my request for a cocktail. They eventually brought me a different drink, but I was still charged for both. Overall, the service was terrible, and the food was only a 5 out of 10.
