My sister makes this for an appetizer but she precooks the bacon slightly before wrapping the shrimp so the shrimp aren't cooked into brickets by the time the bacon is crispy. This chef should learn this trick, bc my shrimp were WAY over-cooked. Just sayin' We will be back bc it is a wonderful venue ordinarily. I won't order that dish again, however.

I ordered the beef raviol... read more It's been a while since my last visit, and unfortunately, the experience wasn't great this time. The salad was soggy and unappetizing. I ordered the beef ravioli, which was disappointing and looked unappealing. I noticed that other guests seemed to enjoy their meals, though. The service was decent, but it could have been better considering the restaurant was quite empty when we arrived.

We chose this restaurant because we love Ron Kobayashi, who performed there last year. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and we were pleased with the service. However, both my husband and son were disappointed with the tomahawk steak they shared, finding it only average. My own steak was overcooked, even though I had requested it to be medium-rare. Despite these issues, we are willing to give The Drake another chance, in the hopes that the chef will pay closer attention to our preferences next time. As retired individuals on a fixed income, these dinners are a treat for us, and we hope for a better dining experience in the future.

The food was exceptional, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was perfect. I will definitely be returning in the future. A big thank you to the managers and especially to our server, Victor, who went above and beyond to make our night unforgettable as we celebrated my mother's birthday and our anniversary. Highly recommend this place!
