Grew up in ROC...always get off the plane and directly to Schaller's. Best burger hot sauce

The food was great! The staff seem to get along. However, I 'm going to comment because if a particular situation. I 'm sure my review will change again soon. However, I went there on 10/6/23, and I could hear the manager or shift leader asking one if the employees to finish something that should 've been doing a while ago. He gave ever excuse as to why he couldn 't do it. It was offered for him and another person to work on it together. At one point, a customer said, there 's no I in team. She was correct, and as a black woman who watched that, it was a little embarrassing to see that from a young black male. The manager who was cooking the food was very polite, and I commend her on how she handled the situation. To be completely honest, if her had argued with me like that, I would 've just fired him and asked him to get out of the establishment. You should never have back talk to your manager, especially if something was part of the job. Other than that, everything was excellent! I will be back. If that young man is in there, I 'll have a few words next time with a manager present.

Don't go there at night there's a bunch of kids there all they do is screw around talk one girl had his long black hair was disgusting wasn't pulled back or nothing just flying all over I don't know why I go there at night it's always a freaking big

This was my first visit. Igot 2 burgers nn a fry. Idont eat meat sauce so ionly had ketchup mayo nn cheese on mine. Nn ifelt like it could have been seasoned. The fries had mo season or salt eithier. Nn ididnt see condiments as such. I laughed with staff there, very friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the pickles while I waited for my food. Nn took tome home.

Schallers has been my go-to for the best $6.50 burgers for the past 40 years. They offer a large cup of ice water for free, which is a nice touch. The French fries are delicious and generous in portion. Just a heads-up—you won’t be able to leave a tip since it’s self-service. Be sure to load up on all the toppings for your burger. Perfect!
