Waffle House - Irondale

I really don’t want to write a negative review because this is my favorite Waffle House. I live on the Westside of Birmingham and often visit the one in Crestwood because the staff is consistently nice, professional, and courteous. The food is usually fantastic, but this time it fell short. My grits had an unusual burnt taste, my steak was extremely chewy, and I was served cold coffee. This visit was on Monday, October 21, 2022, around 10 p.m. My daughter and I really enjoy coming to this Waffle House, so I hope you can improve next time. Thank you!

A great place to eat. The prices are good. The breakfast is always a treat.

Despite how busy they were, I only had a short wait to place my order. Once I did, my food arrived promptly and was exactly as I requested. The staff was really on top of things, putting in 120% effort last night!

My entire experience was outstanding, and the staff was both friendly and courteous. Then the food arrived, and it was simply perfect. April did an incredible job cooking and managing the high volume of orders, and everything was exactly as I had requested. I couldn't be happier!

Honestly the cleanest waffle house in which I've eaten. Service was prompt and friendly. Staff, when not waiting on customers or cooking, was cleaning. The food was, well, it's a Waffle House, so you know what you're getting. Hit the spot though. Greatexperience and will return frequently.
