Maple Creek - Iron Mountain

Poor service, waited 20 minutes just to get someone to take our order. Server took people's orders that came in after us, first. We had to even ask to be served. They offered a breakfast buffet until noon, but would not refill the empty food bins. 2 people from our group already had paid for the buffet, they wouldn't refill them until we talked to a manager.

Our experience at the restaurant was disappointing. I've had much better food and service here in the past. The waitress didn't refill our drinks despite us asking twice. The steak was just okay, and the fries were overcooked. When the waitress cleared my partner's dishes, she accidentally knocked over one of our sodas, and it took nearly five minutes for her to bring a rag to clean it up. In the meantime, we had to make do with our two napkins. To make matters worse, she ended up spilling steak sauce on my plate, causing some of it to splatter onto me. When I pointed it out, she rolled her eyes, which felt very dismissive. After leaving, we both had upset stomachs and had to make a quick stop at the bathroom. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience, and I’m not sure if we’ll return. I really wish I could give them negative stars.

My recent visit was a significant improvement over my last one. The food was delicious, the restaurant was clean, and the prices were very reasonable. There's plenty of parking available, and the service was excellent. I'll definitely be returning!

It wasn’t the best dining experience, but it wasn’t the worst either. Overall, it was just an average, overpriced meal. My taco salad lacked a proper shell; instead, it featured a soggy, fried soft tortilla that was overly oily. The shell was so small that I hardly noticed it until I started eating. The other dishes ordered by my companions were decent, but disappointingly small, so they ended up having to order additional items to feel satisfied.

It was a spacious restaurant, and I really appreciated the way the tables were set up. The food was served hot, and the fries were delicious. The waitress was very efficient, and we didn't have to wait long at all.
