Pulled into the city and a cop told us bimbos has the best pizza in the city. So we tried and voted, best pizza we had.
We are on the road. After 9 hours decided to stay in Iron Mountain! Lots of bars and pubs around here! We decided on Bimbo’s Wine Press. Full bar, great brews, and our pizza hit the spot. Sandy treated us right with our drinks, and it was lovely to “wine” down after a long day on the road. Thanks, Bimbo’s!
Super friendly Mary Jo served me lunch. There are 6 equally appetizers lunch choices (plus the pizza) which are home made. I settled on the "mary jo sandwich (half beef, half porketta, on a bun with cheese and side of tomato sauce. It was very good, very fresh! Oh and bathrooms were super clean and pleasant to use.
Large small tavern with a limited menu of very goid food. This must see how they fill the glasses for the beers.
