What CaroAnn145 doesn't like about The Queens Head:
The Queens Head looks very nice from the outside, however, if you are expecting a warm friendly welcome, I would recommend going elsewhere. The food, and the price were ok, but the owners were rather frosty and unhospitable. I will definitely not be recommending it to anyone. View all feedback.

A real English Pub with great food. Highly recommended.
This is a family run pub offering a huge menu with something to suit most diners. Good sized portions of food, very friendly staff excellent value for money. Only drawback if you need it, is poor internet signal! Would definitley go back again when in the area.
Absolutely great food. Couldn't leave anything. So freshly prepared. Mark and patsy were so warm and friendly Definitely worth a visit.
Have been going for years and standard of food never alters. All curries are made by landlady Patsy and have danger ratings from mild to very hot. Many accompaniment 's available too. If not feeling like a curry then a good choice of home cooked English dishes. Defy anyone not to find something to like on the menu. Generous portions too. Keep this in mind when ordering a pud!!!! Landlord Mark serves an excellently kept pint This is an old building serving great modern food. Big car park. Real fire in bar in Autumn/Winter. Locals friendly. Well worth a visit we can guarantee you will return!
My father and I decided to grab a quick bite to eat and chose to visit the Queens Head pub. The pub has a classic atmosphere with a pool table and traditional pub seating. The owner was kind and accommodating, even though they were not officially serving food. We were served delicious mushroom soup, but unfortunately my bap roll was overheated and became tough. The pub was not very warm, even though we sat next to the radiator, it remained only lukewarm and did not provide much comfort from the cold. Overall, the experience should have been good, but our lunch did not meet expectations. I look forward to returning in warmer weather to try one of their enticing curry dishes listed on the menu.
