Once again, the service was slow. I decided to try the midweek roast for £6, as I had eaten here a few times before. I booked for 6:30pm, but my daughter tried to book at the same time and was told it was too busy, so they could only do 5:45pm. Lovely pub! Great atmosphere and very friendly and welcoming staff. Live bands are on regularly. Will definitely come back

Food is excellent and great value, Tuesday and Wednesday , roast of the day, for children, you could not anything more on your plate ! Also brilliant gigs , look at website, big garden , what more could you want ! Karon and...Terry
Tuesday lunchtime. Excellent roast, nothing missing; plenty of meat, loads of veg, gorgeous roast potatoes, Yorkshire pud, stuffing, pigs in blankets, the list goes on. Delightful hosts and pleasant atmosphere. We will return. Oh, did I mention the desserts...
