I spent a year in Ipswich, and I'm so glad I discovered this restaurant! After trying various Chinese places in the area, I only order from here now. The food is consistently delicious and always served hot. My orders are always accurate, and I usually spend around £50, but there's never anything missing—sometimes they even include some freebies! The owner, Michael, is very friendly. Excellent service all around! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about New China:
Decent Chinese, collected 20 mins after ordering, chicken balls had really hard batter (which some may prefer) but I prefer something slightly softer, and the chicken chow mein lacked much chicken, everything else (egg rice, chicken foo yung) was nice View all feedback.
Ordered chicken curry,there normally lovely,this time it came with 2 peas, no carrots or onions,and the chicken pieces were tiny ,worst chinese i have ever ordered from them ,never again
Bought special chow mein and nearly choked on it due to the over use of salt ,normally the chow mein is nice but not tonight I couldn't eat it after 2 mouthfuls. Won't be using that shop again.
Since 7 years my Chinese have never gone anywhere else! beautiful people! amazing eating, amazing service! good prices for big portions!
They love these Chinese, eating is always delicious and hot, never more than 15mins had to wait for a collection. the man who answers the phone and greets them at gathering is always happy, friendly and polite. tonight I found a nice free gift in my order of 2 big early rolls. many thanks for their new china.
First time ordering as new to the area.. I ordered the duck chow mein and ribs.. absolutely delicious! Quick delivery too. Will definitely be ordering again soon! Thank you.
