Although when you walk in,... read more I absolutely love this restaurant! I've been here on numerous occasions in the past year, and have been to recommend it for a while. Although when you walk in, the decor isn't anything special and it looks slight tacky/basic, the food is no representation of that. It's delicious!! I always have payed for the buffet, which is very reasonably priced seeing as you can then order as much as you like. Thankfully instead of having to get up and get food yourself (like at usual buffet restaurants) this one you order it fresh and it's brought to you. The staff are really friendly and the service is quick! I've never been in here when it hasn't been packed -it's definitely popular! Will continue to go here for a long time, and recommend it to friends!

Was with a largish group, and the food was fine, but I 'd been led to believe that this place was exceptional. It was standard fare that you would get in any half decent Chinese restaurant. I didn 't come away thinking wow . I also don 't like this habit of dimming the lights every few minutes and singing happy birthday . I know a lot of places do it, but it seems a bit naff to me.

I ca... read more The food at this restaurant is very good, but unfortunately, my experience with their take-out service was once again terrible, which seems to be the norm. I called in my order and was told it would be ready in 30 minutes for pick-up. However, when I arrived to pay, I was informed that it would be an additional 5 minutes. After waiting for a total of 25 minutes, I finally got my food, but the atmosphere inside the restaurant was chaotic and I felt like I was in the way. This frustrating experience has made me reconsider visiting this restaurant in the future, despite having enjoyed it in the past.

The restaurant was busy, and the bulk of patrons appeared to have pre-booked, as did we. Having read previous reviews of exceptional Crispy Chilli Beef, we were slightly disappointed, as...it was cool and not that crispy. The Duck with pancakes was a little dry. These were the only negative points. The staff were exceptional. constantly monitoring tables, to either clear, or bring the next course. The buffet menu choice was very good, and if, as we were, indecisive, the staff made great recommendations. The rest of our choices from the buffet menu were tasty and well cooked. Whilst a little pricey, especially for drinks, would still recommend, and will visit again when in Ipswich.
