My lovely wife and I visited Hullabaloo for a pre-match lunch before heading off to the football at nearby Portman Road. It's a bit of an old school vegan place with a slightly rundown feel and distinctly hippy vipe. The menu is fairly limited but offers a few tempting options. I had a falafel salad while my wife had a Christmassy toastie filled with their homemade nutroast. Both were pretty good but nothing special. A pretty average experience.
Nice place with delicious food, many options and very friendly staff. Nice brunch too! Updated by previous review on 2022-05-14
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The staff is extremely friendly and the menu is excellent and easy to navigate. I can't wait to come back soon and try more dishes. The prices for the food and drinks are also very reasonable.
We visit Hullabaloo regularly and are treated to delicious food every time. They have a real talent for combining different flavours and make even vegan standard fare (guacamole/ hummus etc) stand out. Each week there are new and interesting dishes always mouthwatering, always plentiful. Lovely coffee, cake and service. Ipswich needs more independents like this and more vegan cafes.
