Reviews - Danceeats! Cafe

#31 - Vegetarian - Ipswich, Coffee, Coffee

Reviews summary

Nestled in Ipswich, this café and venue offers a charming atmosphere, attracting families with its abundance of books and toys for children. While the coffee shines as a standout feature, consistently praised for its quality, service tends to fall short. Staff members often appear disengaged, impacting the overall dining experience. The menu includes fresh sandwiches and tasty soups, yet some guests find the food unimpressive. Despite the mixed reviews on service and food, the café remains a solid spot for a quick coffee and lunch, especially for those looking to escape the hustle of the town center.

Sandwiches, brunch staff, coffee, cappuccino, etc nice environment, good space and peaceful

Just got a drink and cookie whilst I was waiting but the place had a great atmosphere. Really friendly and helpful people working there. Comfy seats. Open in the evening.

The teachers and staff at this restaurant were amazing! I highly recommend their classes. The atmosphere was great and they helped me regain my confidence after an injury. The prices were very reasonable too.

We had a great experience at the café today for coffee and lunch. The prices were very reasonable. We have also attended several performances at the venue, which are always excellent.

I had a wonderful experience attending the Pilates (Level 2) class, which I was able to try as a taster. The class was inclusive for all ages, and the instructor was helpful, providing useful guidance and adjustments. Thank you for the great experience. I would definitely recommend it.

A little bit difficult to find, could do with a sign post. Fantastic facilities which are accessible for people with disabilities.

After a few classes and workshops, it seems that DanceEast's philosophy is: dancing is not for everyone. I don't know why the staff and now the receptionists throw backhanded comments every time I go there to relax and have fun. Just don't miss the visiting masterclasses. At least most of the money won't go to them.

With so many coffee shops around these days most have forgotten the basics for a decent cup of coffee. This venue however is top of their game with coffee. Me and colleague opted for a flat white and macchiato and both came away from the counter really overwhelmed with the tlc put into making our coffees. The results were brilliant, great tasting coffee. Will definitely return soon and continue avoiding chain establishments that have forgotten a good cup of the good stuff.

For a change as a vegan I actually had a choice! I went for the roasted veg with hummous wrap and salad. Very filling and tasty. Excellent value as well.

Not entirely sure that the member of staff here wants to be here! Can 't tell from their demeanour. That said, the atmosphere and location make this a nice retreat away from the hassle and busyness of town centre. Prices are comparable to other similar places. Croissant was very tasty.

Turned up late. Needed quick snack. Had a jacket potato with bacon and cheese filling, plus a coffee. Perfect in timing and function.

Popped in for lunch, the service is so poor, the servers couldn't look more fed up and disinterested if they tried. The sandwiches were made fresh but so unappealing, thick slices of cheese and a smidge of pickle. Their only saving grace is the excellent coffee and my grandson enjoyed the books. It's a great setting but they need to massively up their game. Won't go again.
