Such a shame really

Food was good. Waitress was formal and professional. Was rather surprised when I swapped a sauce out of my burger for something else was charged. But was fine until they charged £1.25 for. Not even a tablespoon of sauce. When waiter came to clear plates , was slamming plates while clearing like he had a problem. Waiter when asked for the bill brought it over. Came back and asked to split the bill. We Said what each of us would pay and at the table got his mobile phone out with his calculator on, put it on table and worked it out. Just found that completely rude. Also I don’t understand even putting a discretionary service charge for a table of two when to be honest. Wasn’t enough service for a service charge. But paid it as a tip. As the food was with it and the waitress done her job well. Will return, not any time soon though.

Food was really lovely, couldn't fault it, but the kick in the teeth came when we paid £3.50 for a can of coke that you can get in the shop for a £1 and it wasn... read more Food was really lovely, couldn't fault it, but the kick in the teeth came when we paid £3.50 for a can of coke that you can get in the shop for a £1 and it wasn't even refillable. Then to get the bill at the end of £48 for burger and chips twice, that was a definite reason for us not to visit there again.

Unless you have come into some money and are s... read more The staff were very pleasant and we were seated quickly on our arrival, even though the restaurant was very busy. Unless you have come into some money and are starting a diet I wouldn't recommend eating here...... After reading the menu and seeing the prices I was hopeful of getting some great food, but was very disappointed. The burgers and the sides were very small and you almost needed a microscope to see the chicken wings as they were tiny. To be totally honest everything we had was overpriced for the portion size, including the drinks. Will not be using this chain again, but as it looks like they are going bust it won't happen twice.
