Such a shame really

Food was good. Waitress was formal and professional. Was rather surprised when I swapped a sauce out of my burger for something else was charged. But was fine until they charged £1.25 for. Not even a tablespoon of sauce. When waiter came to clear plates , was slamming plates while clearing like he had a problem. Waiter when asked for the bill brought it over. Came back and asked to split the bill. We Said what each of us would pay and at the table got his mobile phone out with his calculator on, put it on table and worked it out. Just found that completely rude. Also I don’t understand even putting a discretionary service charge for a table of two when to be honest. Wasn’t enough service for a service charge. But paid it as a tip. As the food was with it and the waitress done her job well. Will return, not any time soon though.

Food not quite as good as I remember before lockdown (Burgers use to be bursting with flavour, skin on fries were hot and crispy, this time the burgers and chips were very simple in taste), still an enjoyable meal after a disappointing rest of our evening, thank you staff and we'll be back

Really talkative and made sure everything was okay. Food is always so yummy especially the Mac and cheese. Always hot and fresh. Love coming here.
