Amazing! This might just be the best roast beef on the North Shore.
My girlfriend and I stopped by, ordered a roast beef sandwich "three ways," and finished it off in just five minutes—it was that good! The sandwich was served piping hot, and the beef was incredibly soft and tender. I would definitely come back for more. Overall, I rate it 5/5: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.
What a wonderful surprise this restaurant turned out to be! The service was incredibly friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food was of excellent quality—the chicken breast was cooked to perfection, and the salad was fresh and crisp. The roast beef roll was bursting with flavor, and the chips and onion rings were hot and crispy. The portion sizes were quite generous, so I definitely won’t need dinner tonight. Gotta give KUDOS to Zeno's RB. I got a regular and junior beef both 3way. Then drove from Ipswich to Rockport before eating them. The ride was torture because of the delicious aroma. This place lives up to the hype. Excellent sandwiches. Perfectly cooked beef, nice mayo/ sauce ratio. Nice toast on the buttered bun. Who could ask for more? Looking forward to having more.
Needed to grab some food while driving through the area, walked in, ordered a super beef sandwich, they didn't try to upsell me but did warn me that the horseradish was real, which is a huge plus from my perspective, and got out the door with a pile of roast beef on a bun slathered with real horseradish in minutes, for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended,especially if you like real horseradish more than the mayo horseradish sauce.

My wife and I always go to Zenos for roast beef sandwiches whenever we visit family in the area. They serve rare roast beef on a sesame seed bun, with a bit of mayonnaise and some sauce. What's not to love?

The salads had a huge amount of meat on them. Mine definitely filled me up. I?m not a huge fan of iceberg lettuce and that was the base of the salad. I?m giving them five stars because they had good service and the food came out quickly!

This restaurant serves what may be the best roast beef in the area. The service is exceptional, and the woman managing the front operates the establishment seamlessly. Everything is clean, well-organized, and runs smoothly. The venue includes a dining area, a bathroom, and a handwashing station. If you're in the trades, this spot is conveniently located in downtown Ipswich and is well worth a visit. While parking can be a bit challenging at times, it’s absolutely worth it. I highly recommend this excellent place!
Zeno's is an amazing little roast beef place! The food is fresh and cooked to perfection. The fried items, including the French fries and fish, are consistently delicious. The salads are high-quality, fresh, and never wilted. The customer service is outstanding—always accommodating, friendly, and polite. My only minor complaint would be the amount of sauce on the roast beef, but that seems to be a common issue at all the roast beef shops I've been to.
