Mum had the Rib Eye Special (the meat was melt in your mouth tender), I had the seafood spaghetti (oh it was just delicious) and sis had the sea bass (she said the taste grew on her. She finished her food so it must have been nice). We also shared the mussels as starter. It tasted really good with the garlic bread. The bread was toasted to perfection. Will definitely come again and yes, I will recommend this place to my friends and family. Good job!!

We went here, a party of four, for the first time,... read more Maria's Steak Cafe really lived up to its reputation as one of the best places to get a steak in Ipoh, Perak. We went here, a party of four, for the first time, 2 weeks ago on a busy Saturday evening. Quality Black Angus steaks, sirloin, rib-eye or what have you, are cooked to perfection and accompanied by choice of sauce (all of us chose black pepper and it was superbly done). Sides include potato wedges and veggies. Other options include chicken, salmon and pasta. However, the service could be improved upon, ie it could be more systematic, prompt and efficient. Halfway through our dinner, we ordered an extra helping of chips but unfortunately, the order was NOT communicated to the kitchen and we didn't get the chips. I didn't particularly care for the long wait (45min) but I realized it was a busy Saturday night
