What John Panchanathan doesn't like about Artisan Handmade Bread:
Came here due to good reviews. The food looks pretty but I found that it tasted very mediocre. The amuse bouche was made of haw flake candies from the packet, sprinkled with cookie crumbs. Looks special but tastes just like the ones from the packet. The nasi lemak looks beautiful and exotic. It does it taste better than the ones from a good hawker stall? Nope. The walnut cake was just sweet. No other special taste. T... View all feedback.
A place where you can never get bored to eat here, because your menu is not fixed, but is prepared for daily list that varies every day, subject to the mood of the cook and the interest they feel like preparation. The main chef is originally from the UK, where he is exposed to the experience, brings it back and forms his own café serving western breakfast in a slightly fine dining room. So, if you have a fancy-imaginable food plate with full colors and appeal, this is definitely not a place to miss. Price-to-taste presentation ratio is totally worth hanging and chilling while enjoying the music.
Visited this place on New Year's Day for Brunch, Omakase Menu, and it was a great start to the new year! You can say any component in the court is well thought and executed with perfection. A jewel in Ipoh. I was thinking if I wanted to share this assessment first, because I don't want the world to flock here and I can't get a table in the future. Chef is friendly, white exactly where his ingredients come from and are produced locally.

Excellent. Truly handcrafted. We came when they made a whole day of brunch set menu 3 choices. came to breakfast and returned to lunch later. More than you can pay elsewhere, but it is worth 100%. (Support one of us who was vegetarian with a variant on British Sunday Roast). A visit from KL. Everybody goes over the food in Ipoh, now I am.
The cook is very passionate to create and cook the food. Breakfast was brilliant, only choice of 3 mushroom soup, sloppy Joe (comforts) or vegetarian omelet. The breakfast menu changes regularly, makes here exciting weekly. For drinks the refreshing green tea had kombucha. Equipped with French press craft coffee. The Grandmakase lunch menu uses the best fresh ingredients. Absolutely delicious food.
