What Homero Pardi doesn't like about Parable Cafe:
The pastries and coffee are somewhat worth the hype. The staff is friendly and professional. The only negative comment, but carries a heavy burden on my review is the people “dining in”. The café is packed with “the work remote, I’m here to be seen crowd” taking full tables with their laptops while only consuming a cup of coffee that can last a couple of hours. I’m not sure if I’ll come back again. But again, pastries... View all feedback.
Easily my favorite place downtown, with a constantly updated seasonal selection of crafted lattes.
I love parable and truly feel welcomed every time I enter the doors. The location can be difficult with parking but it is a little oasis when I am working in the legal buildings. The coffee menu is a little in depth so it may be difficult if youre more of a black coffee drinker but the staff are always willing to take the time to answer questions. Ive had some of the tastiest coffees ever there! The croissant with the goo centers are the best little sunday morning treat with my partner.Seating does fill up quick!
Amazingly delicious miso caramel latte. Savory mushroom onion pastry! Chocolate hazelnut pastry is great as well. Masala chai and turmeric chai is a must try. Prices are on higher side but you do get high quality items.
Let's Get Social Sunday The Parable CafeAaron Clouse who is nominated for the James Beard Award has taken over the downtown space that formerly housed Nosh.Croissant Suprême! Caramel AppleThe new Fall Featured croissant consists of a Granny Smith apple filling (made from @theperfectpuree green apple purée) then is dipped in a caramelized white chocolate ganache and topped with candied apple pieces! The inspiration for the croissant comes from these little green caramel apple pops from Aarons's childhood!Parable Cafe149 S High St, Columbus, OH 43215parableparable.com
