The food and service were amazing. However, the other guest in the restaurant ruined the meal. One table was having a loud FaceTime call with no concerns for anyone else around them. Another table decided to have their own soundtrack playing loud enough to be heard over the restaurant music. We will go back for the food. Let's hope the atmosphere was a one-time thing. What Adrienne Jackson doesn't like about Golden Phoenix:
I called to order she told me there was a lo mein lunch special and apparently there wasn’t. I also ordered a kids meal and got sweet and sour chicken no fries like advertised or anything. No remorse from her. The lo mein was nasty. If I could give 0 stars I would. Definitely won’t go back. View all feedback.
The food was delicious, tasted fresh and the rice had flavor. Shrimp toast was good and crunchy. The drinks were generously poured. Our bill was not expensive for the portions we ordered. Tastes way better than China Phoenix on Refugee Rd ? So far this is the best Chinese food we've had on 4 years.
Food was delicious and the cocktails were on point!
We don't mind making a 45 min drive wherever we get the hankering for Chinese food.

This gem is located on the north side, right past Morse road and Cleveland Ave. This establishment has no connection to the China Phoenix located on the east side of Columbus. The best way for me to explain the Golden Phoenix (also known as “The Phoenix” is an urban Chinese restaurant with good drinks and quick food for the mature crowd! The spicy wings are the most popular entree on the menu, consisting of 10-12 full wings fried and topped with spicy oil sauce, jalapeños, and green onions. The spicy lo mein and spicy chicken fried rice are great additions (please see photos for live footage . A great place to stop and grab a bite after work or on the weekends. There is usually nice R&B or soul music playing at the front of the bar. There is also space to rent for events and or parties. For two orders of spicy wings, a side of spicy lo-mein and a cocktail, the bill came to a total of $52.
