Dave's Hot Chicken

This place is usually great but they struck out tonight. Ordered 2 tenders and they are usually huge. Instead I got 4 tenders that were a quarter of the usual size. They were so over done and the chicken so dry I couldnt even eat them. The tiny container of sauce was only half full, but honestly, all the sauce in the world couldn't have saved them. Very disappointing. Im going back to canes for their consistency. It was like $15 for the 8 worst chicken nugest ever.

Ordered 2 double slider combos hot w fries. Also ordered 2 sauces which they forgot. I'm upset because lack of attention is what caused this. Ofc we all human so I can't complain about it for the first time. Sauce was average, not too much of any kind of flavor going on except like a lite mayo ketchup? Fries were definitely under filled. And they were like warm. I know 10 minute delivery was in affect but it was a little too cold. Like they started the order early? Spice level on the hot sandwhich was perfect. Gets you nice, like it's pretending to be really spicy but you're not paying the consequences but for a few breathes and sweat swipes. They gave us 3 honeys and 4 ketchups when selecting to add the condiments under each meal. ketchups which were pretty low for a sandwhich that people might want sauce for ti cool it down, and honey was a nice touch but it really didn't add much. Maybe because there was not enough. Cheese fries I would avoid. The cheese was a really low ammount, even the fries were super under filled for $5-$6. Not worth the money. The slaw was very crunchy and good, it felt fresh. Pickles were nice as well, any avid pickle fan will appreciate these after the spice they went through! Overall. Good sandwich, great spice and taste on hot, mediocre sauce, lack of fries and condiment packets and poor bagging execution; in the sense of missing 2 extra sauces for our order. Overhyped but very good marketing team. 3/5.

I got the a Dave's #4: 1 Slider with Fries. Really good chicken, decent fries. I do wish they'd stop putting the cheese for the fries already on them and just give it to you on the side. The sauce is not good honestly, it could use a recipe change. Also, what happened to the shakes?? They were good!

Fries are hit or miss and I live nearby so I expect them to be a hit every time. And I know it's possible because the chicken is always hot and delish. Personally, not a fan of their signature sauce. I wish they had ranch.

The food was fire and fresh just missing the 3 Side of Dave's Sauce that I paid for : oh well
