If you're going to put biscuit in your name, you'd better have great biscuits and Boxwood didn't disappoint! I had my biscuits with a gravy sampler and loved all three I tried. The traditional sausage gravy had the perfect amount of salt and just the right bite of pepper. If you're not into meat the impossible sausage gravy had me scraping the bowl too.Service was friendly and quick and the store was clean with table... View all feedback.
I was visiting Columbus this weekend and decided to come here for breakfast. I tried The Franklin biscuit sandwich and it was out of this world! The website says that the restaurant is closing on Jan. 30th and if it's for good, that would be a big bummer. I would come back to Columbus just for this sandwich, and I was planning on it in the future. Best wishes, whatever happens!
I don't know why it took me so long to try Boxwood biscuits but I'm already ready to go back! I started simple for the first time with the lil bird. It was really good, I loved the truffled creamed spinach on it!
If you're looking for a place to try some of the most unique biscuits and gravy you will ever find them look no further because you have found the spot. Even if you're a vegetarian they will have gravies to satisfy your craving. The biscuits are large fluffy and nice and easily break apart. I'm highly recommend asking for your gravy report over your biscuits to help it soak in. Now when it comes to fried chicken this is the best thing in the entire restaurant It's light fluffy and delicious. Whether what some of the miso gravy and you'll be having yourself a good breakfast.
Wanted to try this place for a long time and so glad i finally did. I ordered it for lunch today and it was delicious. They had a chicken nugget special and the chicken nuggets were huge. It came with fries and a biscuit. Everything was excellent! I couldn’t eat all of it because there was so much. Give this local place a try!!
A great breakfast/brunch/lunch places hidden in the Short North. The location is a little off the beaten path that is High Street but well worth seeking out. The restaurant itself is neat and very clean. The staff is engaging and very friendly and will walk you through the menu and answer any questions. The biscuits and gravy will absolutely fill you up. I had one biscuit (comes with two) and was stuffed. My wife had the Franklin which was huge and looked incredible. Great, hot coffee to complement breakfast. We will definitely be headed back to try the other gravies and their fried chicken.
