Good experience there. The service was good considering that we were there when they opened. The menu was good. I had the Iowa poutins. Wife had made the house chili. The portions were great and the beer selection was really good with a wide selection of local brews. Anyway, it'll be back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hudson's Southside Tap:
My husband and I ordered food for take out. Overall the food was just okay. We ordered the seafood Mac n cheese, the Baxter burger, and the #8 fancy fries. The Mac n cheese was bland and not very cheesy. The burger was dry with bacon that was undercooked for my liking. The fancy fries were also relatively bland in my opinion but my husband liked them. We paid $47 for this this food which I must say, was not worth it.... View all feedback.
The Resturaunt is outstanding and the service is equally as great. I recommend this place to anyone interested in a change of pace place to eat. Prices are very resonanable as well.
Always excellent food and the wait staff in-service staff is phenomenal!
I had a black cherry moscow mule, calamari appetizer, brussel sprout caesar salad, shrimp po boy with fries, and the truffle mushroom mac. (shared with a friend of course) Everything was delicious. Don't order the truffle mushroom mac if you DON'T have time to slip into a 14 hour food coma afterwards. It's phenomenal... but VERY rich. I can't wait to come back and try more items!
Visiting from out of town and it was the best burger I have had in a LONG time! Hope we head back this way again to revisit.
Have eaten here many times. The service is always good and the Burgers are outstanding. My eating companion had the pulled pork and he said it was the best he'd ever had.
