I must say our 2nd experience ordering here was definitely better than our first. The lady who helped was super nice, patient and went over different options I had for questions.i ended up ordering by dish instead of the dinner per person options which were good but you can't swap out chow mein for fried rice and im feeding a pregnancy craving tonight ? food was prepped and ready to go faster than I thought it would... I make a great General Tso's, BUT this place is the best around this area. Crispy chicken with that yummy sauce. I dig right in before taking pics... next
We ordered take out. We ordered 3 dishes and soup. Everything was perfection. Orange chicken was some of the best I have had.
The food is great!!! The service is so and so only when the waitresses are talking to each other. They would rather talk to each other than help guests when they arrive or if you want to get the bill to leave. But the food is worth it!
The food is delicious my only complaint is all of the juice runs out of the to go containers and gets all over everything. Huge
My visit at Ione Chinese Restaurant was spectacular. Me and my family of 4 all ordered lunch. I had the General Tso's Chicken lunch (photo), which also came with rice, fried wonton, and egg flower soup. The chicken tasted phenomenal crunchy texture, great flavor, everything about it. The rice was great, too. The soups tasted a little odd, but nothing I wouldn't eat. Service was okay. For $11 13, you get a lot of food (during lunch special). If you're not a big eater, you can definitely share one lunch plate.Highly recommend Ione Chinese Restaurant, especially during lunch!
