Log Cabin - Iola
Log Cabin
Description
Nestled in Iola, this quaint Log Cabin restaurant serves comforting homestyle fare—fried chicken, burgers, chicken-fried steak and catfish—and draws praise for friendly servers and a welcoming dining room. Experiences vary: many enjoy flavorful, generous dishes and warm hospitality, while others report overcooked seafood, stale fries, long waits, staffing shortages and troubling cleanliness issues. It’s a cozy, scenic stop for families and road-trippers seeking traditional comfort food, but inconsistent execution and service gaps temper its overall appeal.

We’ve been there several times and it is always wonderful. They could teach other restaurants about customer service, they are great! Food is always good. Keep up the good work!

The Log Cabin Resturant is a quaint resturant out of Iola, to go there from the Houston Conroe area is about an hour or so drive through some very pretty county side. The menu consists of offerings from breakfast to dinner, thier price scale is depedant on age bracket IE: Children, Adults, Adults over 65. They are probably best known for thier fried chicken which is delicious, you cn have either white or dark meat or a mix, sides typically are green beans, carrots, dumplings, potatoes and cream gravey and dessert could be something like banna cream pudding with vanilla waifers. This is definitley worth the trip.
