Cocktails are good, really good but, RACIST VIBES And from fellow African waitresses, laughable. You can see the difference with how they treat foreigners and blacks. Like night and day.

Very nice Mexican restaurant, I had the chicken frittata dish. The chicken was good quality. The lunch included chips and salsa beforehand. The salsa was outstanding. I will be back soon.

We have driven by this place two years now always saying we wanted to stop and decided to finally stop here on a Wednesday evening. We tried calling ahead had hard time getting ahold of someone. Called once we got there and got a table on this Wednesday night at 5:30pm. Our waitress was very monotone no personality. Arguments when we addressed things. Tried to order prickly pear in which the waitress just responded “no”. Later explaining they had no coconut alcohol. We ordered drinks. Margaritas were premixed despite sign out front reading “freshly juiced margaritas”. Not in any margarita glasses which we later found out was due to “uneven tables”. Not offered salt or sugar rims. We then proceeded to order appetizers. After ordering waitress came back saying they were out of pocos (only 530pm on first day open that week). Later never took this off the bill. Ordered wagyu burger. Outside was charred beyond being edible. Tasted like eating charcoal. No avocado on it. No chipotle sauce on it. Was unable to eat. Waitress told us that it was cooked on charcoal grill. Never had a burger on charcoal grill that bad. Tried to put 10% credit card fee while we were paying cash and tried charging for the appetizer they were out of. Unacceptable and severely disappointed in service and quality of food. Will not return.

The flank steak street tacos were very good. Soft flour tacos, meat cooked to perfection, a happy blend of taste and texture. A side of guacamole was the perfect finishing touch. The carne asada burrito was fair. The meat wasn't quite as tasty as the street tacos and the rice seemed a little crunchy. The cornbread was fine. The chips and salsa were not our cup of tea. Chips were pretty run of the mill, but the salsa was almost dry, like it was set out to drain on a paper towel for awhile before putting it in a bowl. We like our salsa wetter. And the taste was bland.
