Pizzeria Romantica - Innsbruck Stadt

Perhaps just a poor night, but I doubt I would return given the opportunity. Location: excellent! Setting: very nice, looks like a typical wonderful little pizzeria that you'd expect to find downtown. Service..... Nice staff, but lacking in quality. After an hour of waiting and a half-hearted apology for being so late, my pizza had not arrived. My wine glass had been empty for over 30 minutes and not one inquiry if I wanted another drink. When my pizza arrived at about 65 mins, I asked for a beer. 5 minutes later a wine arrived. Another 5 minutes later my beer showed up to replace the wine, that I did not order, which was sent back with the waitress. Again, more apologies. When my bill arrived (promptly) it was accurate, but when I received the change from the very meager tip I left ( which is extraordinary as I usually tip well - wait staff usually earn it and more) it came back in coins rather than the bill that I knew she carried. Passive aggressiveness with a smile! I left a lot less spirited than when I entered. Pizza, oh, yes, just Ok. The only real flavor was an over application of 'Italian' spices.Again, perhaps I just hit it on a bad night and my experience was unique to that evening's clientele. But next time, I'll find another pizzeria.Perhaps you'll have a better experience.

The native has really potential to become my next favorite place. the waiters are always unusually sympathetic and very accommodating. that makes me really happy with everyone. the guest house is really very tastefully decorated. not cheap decoration, but it was true to color much strongly harmoniously. here we never happened that a court on the table has become cold. the selection of the drinks does not leave any wish open.

Just wonderful, great place, right prices, cheap wine, off the walking path, great specials. Will recommend to any one in Innsbruck. Excellent service

We popped in for a family dinner here on our last night in Innsbruck. We arrived a 6pm on a Wednesday night and had the place to ourselves. The service was friendly and accommodating. We had pizza, mixed salad and lasagna. The pizza is big enough for two persons and was very nice. The salad was brought out as a starter and was very fresh. The lasagna was very tasty. Everything had a nice home style to it. As far as I could tell they only served Italian wines which were very reasonably priced. All up, a good cheap eat for Innsbruck.

Quick, cheap and made to order, was a great option for me while on a business trip with not a lot of free time.
